Disappointing fit for wider thicker ankle.

I recently purchased these shoes with great passion, eagerly awaiting my sister's return from USA to bring them home. Unfortunately, my excitement was short-lived. I discovered they were uncomfortably tight around the ankle, suitable only for slim feet.
As someone with thicker feet, I experienced pain after just two hours of wear. I wouldn't recommend these shoes for individuals with thicker ankles.
