SoleWithSoul Story

Hi, I’m Martina, the founder of  SoleWithSoul, and I live with my family in beautiful Coquitlam, BC, just outside of Vancouver. It’s the perfect place for all sorts of outdoor adventures, and we’re proud to call it home.

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and overall well-being. Along the way, I became a Master of Physiotherapy, a yoga instructor, and last but certainly not least a mom. These roles have taught me how important the health of our feet is and how deeply it’s connected to our overall health and happiness.

I was first introduced to AYLLA BAREFOOT FOOTWEAR through the climbing community and was instantly inspired by the concept.

Once I experienced the difference, I never went back to conventional shoes again. After years of collaboration, I’m honored to bring this brand and its barefoot philosophy to North America. My hope is to share the same freedom and connection that barefoot shoes have brought to me.

– With love, Martina

About AYLLA

Aylla is a Czech handcrafted barefoot brand that redefines what a “normal shoe” means. The name Aylla comes from the language of the Incas and means “community”, an extended family that shares work, property, and values.

The brand was born among friends and family who felt the market was missing shoes that truly respected the shape and health of the foot. They set out to create casual shoes that offered enough space for the feet, supported natural movement, and drew attention with fresh, minimalist design ~ perfect for everyday, multipurpose wear.

Aylla shoes are designed to support you wherever you go. Their flexible, thin, and durable soles allow close contact with the ground, ensuring the perfect fit both outdoors and in the office. Made from natural materials with a breathable nanofiber lining, Aylla shoes truly let your feet breathe.

Every pair is crafted in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, using leather sourced from free-pasture cows in the Czech Republic and other EU countries like Italy and Spain. The leather used is a by-product of the food industry, helping reduce waste while ensuring the highest possible quality. Each pair is built with care and processed materials that guarantee durability for years to come.
